Gardaí investigating burglaries and thefts on Wednesday arrested 44-year-old Edward Collins from Collinstown Crescent, Clondalkin, Dublin; 35-year-old Martin Collins from Woodford Drive, Clondalkin, Dublin; and 25-year-old Michael Collins from Pearse St, Dublin.
Gardaí from Tipperary and Carlow accompanied by the armed support unit conducted searches in the Dublin area on Wednesday and said they recovered a large quantity of stolen property including a trailer and power tools.
They arrested four men including the three presented to Naas District Court, charged with theft.
The Irish Farmers Journal understands the items were stolen from several locations across the southeast including building sites since May. Investigations are under way to reunite them with their owners.
Judge Miriam Walsh remanded the three men on bail subject to conditions including staying out of Co Tipperary, and Co Kilkenny in the case of Edward Collins, pending further court proceedings next month.
