Even for Friesians the difference between O and P grade cattle showed, with Os commanding up to €1.70/kg and P grades back under €1.50/kg. Angus and Herefords made from €245 up to €450 with their weight and continentals were slacker in numbers, but made up to €565 over the €/kg.

  • These January 2016-born heifers weighed an average of 377kg and sold for €800 each (€2.12/kg).

    Dry cows

    Dry cows sold from €190 under the €/kg to €525 over the €/kg. Well-fleshed cows, especially sucklers, were sought after, with a lot of parlour cows on offer.
