One of Ireland’s bestselling fertiliser spreader brands has had a change of ownership. The current head of the company Nils Larssen will continue to control the company and is believed to still have a major shareholding in his family’s company.
The rest of the company has been purchased by a Danish investment firm called Erhvervsinvest which would appear to have been brought in to help with the financing of the purchase from the original family company. These changes are not expected to affect the running of the company or the production. Bogballe has been wholly owned by the Larssen family since 1934 when it was formed by Anders Peter Laursen. The current head of the company is the fourth generation of the family. These changes will have no effect on the Irish distribution of these well-thought-of machines.
