Hundreds of farmers are expected to attend the annual Teagasc dairy conference this week, taking place in Clonmel Co Tipperary on Wednesday 26 November and in Cavan town on Thursday 27 November.
The theme of this year’s conference is pathways to progress and the event will hear from UK based dairy market analyst Chris Walkland who will give those in attendance an overview of the current dairy market.
Teagasc’s Laurence Shalloo and Joe Patton will be using real farm data to analyse key performance indicators and steer farmers towards making sure they focus on the right metrics.
