The driver of a jeep and trailer in Wexford was stopped for driving on the mobile phone. But they also did not hold the appropriate BE license needed for towing trailers.

The driver is scheduled to appear in court.
If you have a category B driving licence to drive a vehicle (car/jeep) you can tow a small trailer. If you want to tow a larger trailer you must have category BE on your licence, the RSA states.
