Update Success !
Lowland farmers are being sought in the midlands and in the Roscommon/Longford areas, while hill sheep farms are being sought in the Connemara/west Mayo region and in west Kerry.
The programme focuses on bringing about significant improvements in the farm’s profitability through adoption of the latest farm technologies.
Further information can be gained by making an expression of interest by email to Michael Diskin at michael.diskin@teagasc.ie, or Michael Gottstein at michael.gottstein@teagasc.ie.
Expressions can also be made in writing to Teagasc, BETTER Farm Sheep Programme, Animal & Grassland Research & Innovation Centre, Mellows Centre, Athenry, Co Galway. Farmers expressing interest in the programme will be issued with an application form. The closing date for receipt of an expression of interest is 5pm on Friday 15 September.
