Firefighters in Dublin are battling a gorse wildfire on Howth Head this Tuesday evening. The Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted to say that it has four units on the scene from four different depots.

A drone has also been dispatched to monitor the situation.

Meanwhile, on Monday a fire broke out in the mountains near Lough Eske in Donegal.
Recent dry weather conditions have made land more susceptible to fire, particularly where there is a fuel source close to forests. The Forest Service from the Department of Agriculture issued an orange fire warning last week, including some top tips to prevent fire.
