Local fire services were called to tackle a tractor and trailer fire on Tuesday.
A spokesperson from the emergency services confirmed to the Irish Farmers Journal that there was “significant damage to a tractor and trailer and the 30 hay bales on the trailer were destroyed”.
The tractor and trailer went on fire on the Aherlow Road in the Bansha area of Co Tipperary.

The trailer involved was carrying bales.
The fire happened at 2.30pm on Tuesday afternoon and gardaí closed the road for a number of hours.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
