The church will offer people who can’t attend mass the opportunity to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday 1 March without having to leave their cars. A drive-through Lenten Petition box will also be placed on the grounds of Glenamaddy church.
These are non-traditional methods of doing things but the Glenamaddy Pastoral Council feels that it must adapt to suit the modern needs of people.
