Lamb prices have come under further pressure this week with most factories pulling base quotes by 10c/kg, while Irish Country Meats has reduced its base quote by 20c/kg to the lowest base quote of €4.50/kg. This is a reduction of 20c/kg to 40c/kg in the last three weeks, or €4 to €8 on a 21kg carcase.
