According to Met Éireann, the weekend will have good dry periods but there is also a risk of rain at times too.
Showers on Friday will develop in the west and these will gradually extend across the country. The rainfall amounts are expected to be low.
However, there will be outbreaks of rain and drizzle on Friday night which will be largely confined to the southwest, west and northwest.
The rest of the country should remain dry. Top temperatures on Friday will range from 12°C to 15°C.
On Saturday, the overnight rain will clear from the south. However, rain and drizzle will occur in the northern half of the country. The day will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 13°C to 16°C.
Sunday is set to be a dry day for everyone but there will be plenty of cloud cover in places too. Temperatures will range from 14°C to 16°C.
Looking to next week, there are indications that Monday will be a wet day with some heavy and persistent rain. The rain and drizzle is forecast to continue through Tuesday and Wednesday.
