An application to increase the rate of advanced payments from 50% to 70% was made by DAERA following flooding in the northwest in August and was approved by the European Commission last week.
Payments will be issued on Monday to those farmers with fully verified claims and money should arrive in bank accounts by Thursday.
The balance payment of 30% will be issued from 1 December 2017.
