I see the National Farmer’s Union in England has started a campaign to bring the tillage sector to the forefront of the political agenda. The #YourHarvest campaign aims to get every MP in Westminster on to a tillage farm in the heat of the harvest, to arm them with a new appreciation of the sector as Brexit moves one step closer.
As is the case in Ireland, the significance of the tillage sector in the UK often goes unnoticed.
