Following last year’s success, Dairy Day will be returning on Tuesday 20 November in the Punchestown Event Centre, Co Kildare.
On the day, both national and international speakers will debate a host of topics and they will be joined by over 50 exhibitors with the aim of providing solutions for an expanded dairy sector.
Along with having the chance to visit the exhibitors, farmers will also be able to attend a series of events. Dairy specialist Aidan Brennan will lead the practical-based skills hub.
Aidan will be joined by experts to discuss how to never run out of silage again, hands-free calving, designing the perfect handling unit and more.
Deputy editor, Jack Kennedy will lead a Beyond the Parlour hub which will explore international experience in adding value for farmers. Irish Country Living editor Amii McKeever will lead a panel on understanding milk and making the most of it and Farmers Journal vet, Tommy Heffernan will bring a new feature called Calf Shed Talks focusing on rearing happy healthy calves.
