ABP’s pet food Division, C&D Foods, has announced the appointment of Colm Dore as its new managing director.
Dore previously managed ABP's meat factory in Rathkeale, Co Limerick. A chartered accountant, he joined the group in 2004 after an earlier career in finance and audit roles.
C&D Foods employs 1,500 people at nine factories in seven countries manufacturing a range of private label pet food products.
The company is headquartered in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, and owns the factory founded by former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.
