Friday

The weekend is to start mostly cloudy, with rain mainly affecting western regions and a risk of spot flooding. Rain will be lighter and patchier in east Munster and south Leinster, with some dry intervals.

Highest temperatures of 16°C to 19°C in fresh, gusty southerly winds.

Tonight, heavy rain will spread eastwards to all areas. Lowest temperatures of 10°C to 12°C with moderate to fresh southerly winds which will clear the rain overnight.

Saturday

Saturday will be a bright and breezy day with sunshine and showers. Highest temperatures reaching 15°C to 18°C with moderate, occasionally fresh westerly breezes.

Overnight showers will become confined to Atlantic coasts. Lowest temperatures of 8°C to 10°C in moderate westerly breezes.

Sunday

Sunday will be a fresh and cool day with sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of the showers will be heavy, especially in the west and northwest. Highest temperatures just 14°C to 17°C with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.
