Washing and clipping Simmental bulls
Farmer Ryan Callan and his brother Sean washing their two Simmental bulls, Lenny and Kenny, in Moneygorbet, Co Monaghan. They're both bulls. Kenny is 15 months old and Lenny is 10 months old. The Callans wash and clip the bulls regularly to get them used to being handled before their sale in the Spring to prevent dirt from building up. \ Claire Nash

Quad Zwartables lambs and twin texel lambs
Agricultural Science Student at CIT Cian O’Sullivan came home for Christmas to deliver quad Zwartables lambs and twin texel lambs, just one day old, on the family farm at Cooleanig, Beaufort, Co Kerry. Cian had the help of his younger sister Orla and parents Derry and Eileen O’Sullivan. The Zwartable Ewe is the proud mother of 26 lambs to date. \ Valerie O’Sullivan
