Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed has announced a number of locations for official trade missions in 2020.
The minister will visit the South East Asian markets of Vietnam and the Philippines, where the consumption of dairy and meat products continue to grow rapidly.
Minister Creed has also penned another visit to China in 2020.
Closer to home, trade missions will be made to the North African countries of Algeria and Egypt. These counties are particularly import to the live export of older cattle.
The Department of Agriculture also said there would be ongoing trade visits to the UK and the EU.
