For me, the early part of the year is a great time to recommit to be simply better to yourself and those that matter. Particularly now that January has passed and the first semblance of spring is just around the corner. Choosing to be more present, kinder and more grateful. I call it “self-care” – not a narcissistic, egotistical form of self-centered care. Rather a holistic form of self-care that includes self-compassion and self-renewal. You need to learn to take good care of yourself. Self-care is a gift to you and everyone that matters in your life. Great physical health, emotional fulfilment, psychological fitness, rich relationships underpinned by a strong sense of purpose, knowing that what you do and who you are really does matter.
