Coronavirus couldn’t cancel St Patrick's Day completely, as farmers got their green flags out and took to social media to celebrate Ireland’s patron saint.
The Hynes family led the charge, with a parade featuring a Noah’s ark worth of animals.

There was also plenty of festive dress-up on Suzanna Crampton’s farm with one of her Zwartbles lambs.
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to you all from our small green fields. We’re all living through an exceptionally extraordinary time. Let’s all fight a good fight against this invisible enemy. It wasn’t just farmers who took to social media to celebrate. There was a special message from President Michael D Higgins which sparked a new hashtag #SaveMichaelD

And finally, there was a special message from one of Ireland's (and England’s) best-loved comedians.
