Irish dairy co-op Ornua recorded a strong financial performance in 2019 as sales of the iconic Kerrygold brand topped €1bn for the first time. Ornua’s operating profit for the year showed double-digit growth of 22% to €49m as operating profit margins widened slightly to 2.1%. Earnings (EBITDA) grew by 19% in 2019 to reach just under €72m, while overall sales for the year grew by 12% to just over €2.3bn.
