Glanbia has announced that it will be holding its milk price for the month of July at 28.15c/l, excluding VAT, for creamery milk at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein.
It will pay its member milk suppliers 28.55c/l, excluding VAT.
Glanbia stated that the average price for July creamery milk, based on delivered constituents, would be 33.86c/l including VAT.
Fragile
“The current market balance is fragile,” Glanbia chair Martin Keane said.
“Weak global economic data and high rates of coronavirus in many key importing regions are of concern. Market direction will depend on the level of milk supply in key regions and recovery of food service demand.”
