Kerry has announced that it is holding its July milk price at 28.94c/l, excluding VAT.

A spokesperson for Kerry said that based on average July milk solids, the price return inclusive of VAT and bonuses is 33.84 c/l.

Kerry is following the lead of fellow major dairy processor Glanbia, which held its milk price at base milk price at 28.6c/l, excluding VAT, at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein.

Last week, Lakeland Dairies increased its milk price to 29.4c/l, excluding VAT, leading the IFA to urge other co-ops to follow suit.

Carbery has announced that it will be holding its base milk price at 30.26c/l, excluding VAT, at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein.
