Dairygold Co-op has announced an increased base price for July milk supplies.

Suppliers will receive 29.1c/l excluding VAT for milk delivered at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein. This is up 0.5c/l on June’s price.

On Tuesday, the board of Arrabawn met and decided to lift the July price by 0.5c/l to 29.41c/l.

There has been mixed news for dairy farmers so far this month, with some co-ops increasing their prices while others remained unchanged.
