A spokesperson for Aurivo said: “Dairy market sentiment has shown a weakening in August and we will continue to monitor this and the ever present threat Covid-19 has on global demand and processor production.”
Meanwhile in Northern Ireland, Aurivo has increased its base price for July milk supplies by 0.25p/l to 24.5p/l.
Prices
Kerry announced on Monday it will be holding its July milk price at 28.94c/l, excluding VAT. Last week, Glanbia and Carbery also announced unchanged prices of 28.6c/l and 30.26c/l respectively.
Lakeland Dairies increased its milk price to 29.4c/l, excluding VAT.
Dairygold Co-op increased its milk price to 29.1c/l excluding VAT.
