Jer O'Callaghan has not let the amputation of his arm hold him back for one minute
My Farming Week: Jer O'Callaghan, Colla, Schull, Co Cork. His ability to drive poles one-handed has drawn the curiosity of passers by.
Since losing his left hand in a motorbike accident, Jer adapted and manages to do all farm work himself, except silage.
As well as looking after the farm, Jer takes care of his father Jerry Senior, who came to the farm in Colla, Schull, in 1943 and took it over from his uncle. Jerry senior turns 95 this weekend.
