As you read this, we are more than two weeks into a six-week Level 5 lockdown. This lockdown 2.0 in many ways is even more challenging than the first time, with winter evenings closing in. More people than ever are challenged by their mental health. Not just people with a history of anxiety or depression either. People who have never experienced negative stress issues are now challenged in a new way by COVID-19. I call it the COVID-19 blues and no one is immune. As a result it has never been more important to have some self-care strategies to boost your emotional bank account of positivity and support your mental wellbeing.
