The Department of Agriculture is looking for graduates in agricultural science to fill vacancies nationwide for the role of assistant agricultural inspector.
The successful candidates may be located at headquarters in Dublin, Backweston, Portlaoise, Wexford, or in any regional offices, laboratories and testing stations.
Applicants will also have the option to express interest in the specific role of assistant agricultural inspector at a border control post.

The successful candidates will be responsible for bringing scientific expertise to the development of the agri-food sector and on the enforcement of EU and national legislation on agriculture.
Applicants must hold a primary degree qualification at level eight on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in agricultural science as well as a full driving licence and a means of transport.
The application closing date is 3 December at 3pm.
