Osteoarthritis or OA is a common condition which can lead to pain, discomfort or reduced mobility in dogs and cats.

The condition can affect all types of dogs and cats irrespective of their age, size or breed. Often owners put these conditions down to ageing and not an underlying health condition.

Some of the main signs of osteoarthritis to look out for are limping, stiffness, difficulty with stairs, changes in behaviour or restlessness at night.
