The Irish Farmers Journal understands that a dairy and beef farmer from Kilmacthomas, Co Waterford, was fatally injured in a tractor crash on Tuesday.
Local reports suggest that the man was travelling back from his outfarm when the tractor turned over on the road and he was thrown out of the cab.
The man was heavily involved in the local IFA.
