Carlow man Eamonn Tracey is off to Denmark this Friday to defend his world crown in the conventional ploughing class after winning his 10th national senior conventional class title in Ratheniska on Thursday.Listen to his analysis of competitive ploughing as a sport, winning tips and advice for beginners.
Ploughmen and one ploughwoman from across the world will congregate in the village of Crockey Hill, south of York, ready for the World Ploughing Contest which opens this week.
Applications are being invited from Irish-owned companies, research and academia, who are delivering solutions with the potential to drive positive change in the Irish agriculture sector.
