A tractor that had not been taxed or insured for over 15 years has been seized by Gardaí.
Gardaí were conducting a checkpoint in Co Wicklow when the tractor was seized.
The checkpoint was part of Operation Thor, a national anti-crime strategy which has received €5m in funding from the Government.

Last weekend, Gardaí in Co Kerry seized a jeep and trailer after detecting multiple road traffic offences.
According to Gardaí, the jeep had not been taxed for six years and had no NCT certificate.
The jeep was also drawing a milk tank, but the driver was not licensed to tow a trailer.
Gardaí said they had seized the jeep and would summon the driver to appear in court.
