Monday

It will be a mostly sunny but rather chilly start to Monday according to Met Éireann, which will give way to a somewhat cloudier afternoon, especially in more northern and western areas.

Top temperatures on Monday will vary between 11-14°C with the best of the afternoon sunshine in the south and east. Mainly light to moderate west to northwest breezes are forecast to be strong and gusty near north and northwest coasts.

Monday night is forecast to be cool and mainly dry with a mix of clear spells and cloudy periods, with lowest temperatures of 2-5°C, with some grass frost in places.

A breezy night is forecast, especially over northern areas; with fresh westerly winds which will be strong in coastal areas.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be a breezy day in northern areas, with some showers in places. But Met Éireann has said it will be mainly dry elsewhere, with bright or short sunny spells developing.

Top temperatures on Tuesday will range between 12-14°C and it will be mild overnight, with lows of 6-9°C.

Wednesday

Wednesday is forecast to be mainly dry with a mix of bright or short sunny spells and occasional cloudy periods, with top temperatures of 11-13°C.

Thursday

Met Éireann has said Thursday will be a cloudy and breezy day over Ulster and much of Connacht, with scattered patches of drizzle and mist.

Top temperatures will vary between 11-12°C and it will be windy overnight with a spell of rain set to move down across the country from the north.

Current indications from Met Éireann suggest that for the latter half of the week, it will be much cooler than of late, with temperatures below normal. Rain and hail showers are forecast along with some frost.
