The ground is at Brannockstown and is being sold by Sherry Fitzgerald Royal, based in Navan.

The holding will be sold at auction on 6 October in Trim Castle Hotel. The guide price is €300,000, or €9,677/ac.

The land fronts on to the R156, the main Summerhill to Ballivor road. There is gated access onto this road.

It’s a convenient location, 3km from Rathmolyon, 7km from Trim, 8km from Summhill and 19km from Kilcock and the M4 motorway.

Land type

The land in the general area is good quality. The land for sale is in one block. It is in permanent pasture and well fenced. A stream runs along one side providing a natural supply of water if needed. The land is laid out in four main fields.

Auctioneer Aidan Heffernan said that there is good interest in this land ahead of the auction, both from local farmers and individuals from outside the locality.

Tillage farm

Sherry Fitzgerald Royal have also just brought a large block of tillage land on to the market. The 74ac is near Trim and the ground is currently in stubbles.

The location is Monkstown, Kilmurray. The 74ac is in one block and has road frontage. It is now going up for sale by private treaty.
