The job will have a mix of field- and office-based duties, which include sales and market development of the pig and poultry portfolio.

There will be regular travel north of the border and frequent overseas travel in the role.

A degree in science, agriculture or business is desirable for applications.

The ideal candidate will also prove knowledgeable of the pig and poultry sectors, with at least two years’ experience in sales or marketing.

A large dairy herd in east Co Galway is seeking workers to milk, carry out jobs around animal husbandry and to complete general work.

The farm has modern facilities, with an 80-point rotary equipped with ACRs and an auto-drafters.

Night calvers will work on a roster and rostered time off will be provided to the workers.

Opportunities will be made available for additional agricultural-related training courses and attending discussion groups.
