Bomford Turner has filled a gap in its higher specification hedge cutter range, with the new Buzzard Evo T-VFA 7.25 model.

Traditionally, users requiring more reach than what the 6.5m Falcon offered had to make the leap to the 8.0m Buzzard.

The new 7.25m Buzzard T-VFA has been introduced as a middle ground, offering a telescopic arm and variable forward reach.

Using the telescopic extension, a maximum reach of 8.0m can be achieved.

The advantages of the T-VFA system means that the operator can cut alongside and directly behind the tractor cab.

The forward reach head can travel up to 2.1m forward and up to 1.1m rearwards, leaving good visibility through the side window, reducing operator strain over prolonged periods.

Standard features include parallel linkage, oil cooler, arm and head float, as well as a cutting head transport bracket, hydraulic breakout protection and LED road lighting.

The Buzzard T-VFA is equipped with a 74hp gear pump, producing a hydraulic flow of 125l/min.

It uses the popular top-of-the-range ICS fully proportional controls

A range of attachments can be fitted in addition to the standard 1200 Pro-Cut flail head, such as 1500-2000 head, as well as a rotary and saw head options.

List price for the model is €65,000 plus VAT.
