Effective as from 1 June, Trevor Tyrrell (current CEO of Claas UK and Ireland) will transition into role of Claas senior vice president for western Europe. The new role involves responsibility for equipment sales within both Western Europe and also Oceania, for which he is currently regional director.

Trevor succeeds Christian Radons who now joins the Claas Group executive board with responsibility for the global sales and service division.

Having grown up in Edenderry, Co Offaly, Trevor has worked for the German based machinery giant Claas for over 30 years. He has held a number of positions in product management, marketing and sales departments within the company.

In 2008, Tyrrell was appointed regional director for the British Isles, in addition to other importer markets including Oceania, before taking on the role as CEO of Claas UK three years later in 2011. As part of this role, he has also been a long time member of the Western Europe management team.
