The revised tyre inflation systems from Claas can be retrofitted to Arion 500 and 600 tractors as well as Axion 800 and 900 series machines. The system is also available ex-works for the Stage V Axion 900 models.

Display and operation of the system is done via Cebis touch terminals or via Claas Isobus universal terminals such as the S10 or Cemis 700.

From here, operators can switch between preset field and road modes at the press of a button. For trailed implements such as trailers, there is now an integrated regulation of the internal tyre pressure which uniformly controls all axles and wheels.

Larger Axion 800 and 900 series models with Cemos can integrate the CTIC control directly into Cemos optimisation. This makes it possible to achieve intelligent dynamic tyre pressure adjustment in line with factors such as ballast and data recorded from the tractor’s sensors. In theory, this should reduce wheel slip and diesel consumption.

The system has a high air delivery rate of up to 2,800 l/min air flow rate in the most powerful model CTIC 2800. Claas say that 600/70 R28 & 710/70 R38 tyres can inflate from 0.8 to 1.8 bar in a time of just one minute and 20 seconds. The CTIC remains compliant with road regulations remaining under 3.0m.
