Over the next three years, 48 graduates will work on a prestigious development programme with ESB. The company’s award-winning graduate development programme aims to help graduates from the fields of engineering, IT, HR, marketing, commercial and finance develop both professionally and personally within the organisation.

Aiming to recruit “high-calibre talent” from Irish third level institutions, ESB’s programme provides graduates with an opportunity to gain experience by working on challenging assignments and major projects, offering exposure to the different aspects of the company.

Adhering to COVID-19 regulations, an online induction and welcome programme took place for the new ESB recruits this year. Graduates have access to a wide range of supports within the organisation including IT equipment, access to remote working and individual guidance mentors from within their business units.

Executive director, people & organisation development at ESB Pat Naughton said: “As they embark on their career with ESB, we wish them every success, we look forward to working with them as part of our graduate programme and are confident that they will make a significant contribution to the success of our business and the delivery of our Brighter Future Strategy.”

Recruitment for ESB’s 2021 Graduate Development Programme is now open.
