The increase in live exports is being underpinned by a doubling in calf exports to the Netherlands, while exports to Northern Ireland are running 44.1% lower year on year.
Live exports are running 13.5% higher and there have been big changes, including exports to the Netherlands doubling in number while exports to Northern Ireland have almost halved.

Exports in recent weeks have been curtailed by the removal of the Stena Horizon for maintenance reasons but were still relatively positive at over 11,000 head for the week ending 9 April 2022.
