On the banks of the River Moy estuary in Co Sligo, a beautiful 131ac property has come on the market. While most properties quote road frontage as a selling point, this one boasts 1.4km of coastline. It is guided at €1.5m or just under €11,500/ac.
Moyview House has four bedrooms, four reception rooms, a kitchen, utility, conservatory, store room and swimming pool complex.

The land
The land is all in one block. It is situated 6km outside the seaside town of Enniscrone which is on the Wild Atlantic Way. Meanwhile, the town of Ballina in Co Mayo is just 9km away.
The farmland at Moyview is let on a conacre basis to a number of local farmers for silage and grazing. However, it is understood that it will be sold free of tenancies.
There is 120ac in grassland which is a ring-fenced block and is generally level. It rises from the estuary on the west to about 26 metres (85 feet) on the southeasterly corner.
It is all in grass with road frontage on the eastern side and internal farm roads.
There is a mains water supply to the land and electric fencing. There is approximately an acre of forestry on the land. The Killala Bay and Moy Estuary area is designated as a special area of conservation (SAC) and there are no entitlements being sold with the land.
Moyview is for sale as a whole by private treaty. The sale is being handled by Savills.
A spokesperson for Savills told Irish Country Living that there has been some interest from international buyers, particularly from Irish located abroad but from Sligo originally.
