The holding is located at the rear of the former Kilmeaden cheese factory. It is approximately 6km from Waterford City and 1km from the M9 Waterford to Dublin motorway.
The farm lies in one block and is all in grass. It has road frontage and a system of internal roadways. There are a number of sheds on the land. The farm has been let for a number of years and according to the auctioneers it has potential for improvement.

Auctioneer Des Purcell said the holding also has potential for development of renewable energy facilities.
It is located next to a 38KV ESB sub-station and in close proximity to 110KV and 220KV stations.
“A farm of this size has not been offered for sale locally in a very long time and considerable interest is anticipated from the Waterford area and nationally,” the auctioneer said.
