A 53.25ac holding is on the market near Ardrahan in Galway. The property is at Fiddaun and will be sold by online auction next month by Mountbellew Property Sales.

The farm is in a convenient location in a good farming area, between Ardrahan and Craughwell. It is 5km from Ardrahan, 10km from Craughwell, 16km from Loughrea, 16km from Gort and 33km from Galway city.

The holding lies in two separate divisions of 46.53ac and 6.72ac.

The larger portion is in one block and laid out in five main fields. This land was in crops for a number of years and re-seeded to grass in 2019.

This block has considerable road frontage, auctioneer Padraig Naughton said.

The 6.72ac portion is accessed via a cul de sac.

The guide price is €8,000/ac to €10,000/ac.

The smaller division of 6.72ac is accessed via a cul de sac and is mixed-quality land. Its guide price is €4,000/ac to €5,000/ac.

The two divisions of the farm can be sold separately, Padraig Naughton said. The online auction will take place on 3 June at 2pm on the Marteye platform.
