A 62ac grassland farm has come on the market to the south of Dublin city. It’s on the outskirts of Tallaght and at the foot of the Dublin mountains. The farm is being sold by Coonan Property and QRE and it will go for auction on Wednesday 6 October at 3pm in the Tallaght Cross Hotel, Dublin 24.

The property is located between Bohernabreena and Kiltipper. This places it within a short distance of the N81 road. It is also close to the M50, the motorway that rings around the west side of Dublin city. The Luas tram line is 5km away.

Although close to Dublin city, the land in this area is farmed intensively, mainly in sheep and cattle.

The farm for sale is described by the auctioneers as good-quality pasture. It is laid out in ten main fields. It has excellent views over Dublin city. A portion of the land is zoned as high amenity use.

The farm will offered at auction in two lots as well as an entire, as follows:

  • Lot one will be 16ac off Ballymaice Lane with single-story cottage which needs complete renovation. This lot has a guide price of €400,000.
  • Lot two is 46ac off Ballymana Lane with two buildings. This lot is guided at €800,000.
  • Lot 3 consists of the entire with a guide price of €1,200,000 or €19,354/ac.
