Toons Bridge Dairy Farm, Toonsbridge, Co Cork, is seeking a farm manager for its herd of 60 milking buffalo.

The successful applicant will manage the buffalo herd, which is milked and calved year-round. The farm’s operations place an emphasis on milk quality, according to the owners.

They are seeking a candidate with excellent organisational and herdsman skills and say that experience of grassland management is essential.

Green Road Farm, Borris-in-Ossory, Co Laois, is seeking an assistant herd manager for its 250-cow dairy herd.

The farm owners described their dairy farm as “progressive” and “busy”.

The successful applicant’s duties will include milking cows, feeding calves and general farm work.

A salary between €30,000 and €35,000 will be provided for a 39-hour week.
