Cattle prices at Omagh Mart on Monday saw rises of £20 to £30 per head on the previous week, despite a bigger entry of cattle being forwarded.
Prices for bullocks peaked at £1,575 for a 790kg animal, with £1,375 to £1,550 being paid for heavy bullocks weighing 670kg and over.
Mid-weight bullocks were a steady trade, selling from £970 to £1,150 for continental types, while lighter types sold from £840 upwards, depending on quality.
Heifers sold to a top price of £1,445 for a 675kg animal, with £1,250 paid for a 620kg animal.
Heavy fleshed heifers were in limited supply, but good-quality forward animals sold to £1,180 paid for 540kg and 580kg animals. General prices paid ranged from £1,050 to £1,150.
Fat cows sold to 190p/kg for a 740kg animal, with most good-quality cows making 161p to 182p/kg.
Calves sold to £450 for a Charolais bull, followed by £445 for a Blue bull calf.
