Angus and Herefords bullocks sold for between €265 and €770 along with the weight, with continental bullocks making up to €800 over.
Outlier stock were the best sellers, with almost all beef-cross bullocks making from €2/kg up to €2.30/kg for both 2015- and 2016-born stock.
Beef crosses from dairy herds having crossbred or Jersey cows made similar money to Friesian bullocks, who were selling from €1.55/kg up to €1.80. Continental bullocks made between €325 and €800 over the €/kg.
This pen of January 2015-born bullocks weighed an average of 565kg and made €1,240 (€2.20/kg).

Calves
In the calf ring, Hereford and Angus bulls were selling from €175 up to €405, with heifers of these breeds making from €170 to €380.
Friesian bulls sold from €80 to €150. Similar to the calf trade, cows sold well.
Cows
Cows made from €80 to €500 over the weight, with fleshed Friesians on offer selling for close to or over €200 with the €/kg and suckler cows in similar condition up on this.
