The majority of what was on offer was under 370kg with a smaller offering of autumn 2016-born weanlings also present.
Most weanlings on the day, including bucket-reared traditional breed dairy crosses, sold for between €2.40/kg and €2.90/kg with a smaller proportion selling outside of this price range.
Friesian bull weanlings were making around the €1.70/kg mark.
Heifers were making between €2.10/kg and €2.80/kg with select lots getting a few cent per kilo more.
Champion of the show and sale went to a January 2017-born Belgian Blue bull owned by Gerard Devitt Knocknagree, Mallow.
The weanling weighed 390kg and sold for €1,360 (€3.49/kg).
Reserve champion was a January 2017-born Belgian Blue heifer from the same farm. She weighed 335kg and made €1,000.
Top price on the day was not among the prizewinners but was reserved for one of the last few animals to sell on the day.
