Cattle were an excellent trade at Enniskillen Mart on Thursday, with strong buyer demand across all classes of stock.
Bullocks sold to a top price of £1,390 for a 596kg Charolais, with £1,320 paid on a 580kg animal of similar breeding.
Heavy lots sold from a general price range of 200p to 236p/kg, depending on breed and quality.
Mid-weight bullocks sold from 205p to 252p/kg, with a 500kg Angus animal making £1,180. Lighter bullocks sold from 210p to 266p/kg.
Heifers sold to a top price of £1,200 for a 580kg Charolais. Prices paid on good-quality lots ranged from 192p to 241p/kg, depending on quality.
Weanlings
Bull weanlings sold from £650 up to a top price of £1,095 for a 435kg Charolais animal, while heifer weanlings sold from £500 to a peak of £935 for a 385kg animal.
Calves sold to £330 for a Simmental bull, while Belgian Blue bull calves made as far as £300. Charolais bull calves sold to £290, with Angus calves making £250 and Friesian bulls making £95.
Cows
Suckler cows peaked at £1,720 for a cow with a bull calf at foot. Limousin cows with calves sold to £1,410 and Angus cows made £1,225. In-calf heifers sold to £1,020.
Fat cows were a solid trade, with 190p/kg paid on a 716kg Charolais cow. Fleshed cows sold from 150p up to 192p/kg, depending on age and quality, with lighter feeding cows selling upwards from 120p/kg. Friesian cows sold from 75p to 120p/kg.
