Bullock numbers were back on the previous week, with 270 on offer on Monday.
Friesians were in plentiful supply again, with the tops making €1.71/kg. A large number sold for between €1.45/kg up to €1.65/kg.
Overall, Friesian bullocks sold from €200 to €400 with their weight. Some excellent lots of spring 2016 Herefords comfortably broke €2.05/kg.
Hereford and Angus-cross bullocks made up a good proportion of the sale and sold from €1.70/kg to €1.95/kg in a sale where their prices ranged from €260 to €525 with their weight. Continental bullocks were extremely scarce up to €565 with the €/kg.

Heifers
There was 50 heifers on offer, mainly Angus and Hereford crosses. They made from €240 to €465 over the €/kg.

Calves
There was 240 calves on offer this week. Friesian bull calves made from €120 to €165 for younger calves, with runners selling from €180 up to €370.
Hereford and Angus bulls made from €315 to €460 for younger calves, with runners making up to €530.
Angus and Hereford heifer calves sold from €180 to €300, with runners making up to €370. Continental bull calves made up to €345, with older calves selling for up to €475. Continental heifers went for up to €360, with runners going for up to €400.
Cows
There was 120 cows on sale and they made from €160 under to €470 over the €/kg. Good, well-fleshed cows were both plentiful and in demand in what was a very good trade overall.
